Ready Steady Physio Terms and conditions of contract are set out to align expectations for both the client and the therapist.

Sessions
• A single session lasts approximately one hour and can be tailored according to the child's needs ie: 45 mins-90 mins. Sessions may be carried out at a clinic base, the client’s homes, school / college/ hospital setting or a trip in the community
• Sessions may be assessment, or therapy according to the current needs
• An initial assessment may consist of several sessions to see a client in a number of settings before aims are set
• Written aims, resource preparation, reports and liaison with significant others will be charged at the hourly rate.

Fees
Single Session Rates
Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapy rates are charged at £70/hr
Planning/ writing exercise programmes and clinical letters/reports
Charged at the hourly session rate and will be agreed in advance with you. Time spent writing up case notes is included in this price.
Aquatic Physiotherapy (Hydro) Fees
Sessions can take place at a local hydrotherapy pool subject to availability.
• Individual session 1:1 = £70.00/(30 mins in pool, assistance pre and post entering pool, admin time) + the cost of hire of the pool
£45 (30 minutes in pool, admin time) + the cost of hire of the pool
MDT meetings
Charged as non-client facing clinical time at £70.00 p/hr as required.
Administration time
Charged as non-clinical time at £35.00 p/hr as required.

Travel & Expenses
• Mileage is charged at 50p per mile from CV3 6QG on any distances greater than a 5 mile radius.
• Travel time will be charged at £20.00 per hour. Travel times will be agreed before commencement of therapy.
• Postage will be charged using the royal mail system as needed.
• Photocopy & Printing charges will apply as follows
Black and White 10p/ sheet
Colour 50p/ sheet.

Payment
Payment can be made in person or Invoices will be sent out at the end of each calendar
month to the bill-payer provided.
Payment Methods
Payment is accepted by cash or bank transfer.
Bank transfers must use the invoice number as the reference for the payment. Payments must be made within 30 days. Late payments are subject to a 5% increase for each 30 day period of non-payment. Failure to pay after 90 days will result in a County Court Judgement (CCJ).

Cancellations
Cancellation by the therapist - If the therapist cancels an appointment, the session can be rearranged at a date and time, which is convenient for the client and the therapist. No charge will be made.
Cancellation by the client - If the client cancels an appointment with more than 24 hours’ notice –no charge will be made.
Cancellation by the client with less than 24 hours notice –If less than 24 hours notice is given for a canceled appointment due to exceptional circumstance or sickness of the child then 50% of the fee will be charged.

Non-attendance
If the client fails to attend the scheduled appointment and does not cancel with 24 hours of notice, the client will be invoiced in full for the session.
The following constitute failure to attend an appointment:
• The therapist attends the client's home for an appointment, but the client is not at home.
• The therapist attends the child's school or nursery but they are absent and the therapist was not informed.
• Cancellation by the client should be made by the person who pays the bills.
• Cancellation of an MDT meeting.

Confidentiality and Data Protection
All Physiotherapists working for ReadySteadyPhysio will be registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). All personal information including client details, case notes and correspondence will be stored securely and treated with strict confidentiality in line with GDPR legislation.
ReadySteadyPhysio is registered with the ICO (information commissioner's office)

Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
All staff have an enhanced DBS check. Please know that you may request to see this enhanced disclosure at any time.

Complaints
Please contact the clinical director, Sarah Mascolo if you are concerned or unsatisfied in any way. I hope that most complaints can be resolved in this manner of direct communication.
