With years of experience working within Paediatric Physiotherapy, I have seen the importance of personalised care for children facing physical challenges to improve their quality of life and level of functioning. I am a HCPC registered practitioner, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and Association of Chartered Paediatric Physiotherapists (ACPC). I have worked for the NHS in acute and community services in a variety of Paediatric roles, specialising in neurodevelopment, musculoskeletal and orthopaedics.

I am proud to have completed my Bobath training, APPI pilates instructor course, the Elaine Owen Paediatric gait analysis and orthotic management course and MAES therapy introductory session, alongside all the training and experience I have gained through research and years of experience working in the field of Paediatric Physiotherapy. I believe the best type of Physiotherapy is a combination of several approaches, drawing on and selecting the most suitable principles of therapy for your child and their goals. For example, I may use a hands on approach to guide and teach a movement, use and tune orthotics to improve gait, or facilitate a child-led play approach to achieve a set goal. Whilst meeting the child's physical needs, the emphasis is always of making therapy enjoyable for the child and providing the right level of support to their parents.

I am professional, enthusiastic, supportive and very approachable. I love working with children and prior to becoming a Physiotherapist, I had several jobs that suggest as much, from being a secondary school PE teacher, coaching children in various sports and a project leader for young carers. My own interests include running, crafts, reading, dancing/listening to music and learning about different cultures.
